Changes!
Changes are coming to 2 Stroke Madness! I am currently trying to find some more contributors for the site as well as get the 2SM gear designed and printed. Anyone who is interested in writing about the 2-Stroke scene (mopeds, scooters, and motorcycles), please feel free to contact me. I need articles, photo and video submissions, reviews (products, rallies, bikes, etc.), how-to’s, and whatever else. I will also be adding pages for a local (Madison, WI) 2-Stroke club and a few other ideas. Look for these changes to roll out before summer. Thanks!
Look at Life - Scooter Commuter, 1962
This is an awesome video on the British scooter culture of the 60’s, with a bit of history thrown in.
This is super cool… It’s a comic featuring mod/rude boy/punk/scooter boy culture set in the 80’s! The author is looking for help to get to fund it so it can be printed. $12 gets you a signed copy of the first issue and for donating more you can get a cameo in the comic. Pretty cool stuff.
Also, if you aren’t familiar with kickstarter.com, you should really check it out. People with ideas post them on kickstarter and ask for help to fund their project or product, and the people offering funding get various incentives for doing so. There are some really interesting projects on there right now like this comic and The Banjo Project.
