My boss at Scooter Therapy is selling the last 05 Chetak in his shop and very likely one of the last new Chetaks in the country. These were one of the last holdouts in the world of the steel bodied, shifty scoots. It’s a steal at $2,100 +ttl
This is a great article outlining the major concerns with so-called “viet bodge” scooters, or scooters that were “restored” in Vietnam or other Asian countries and then shipped over here. People often pay as much as an American restoration would cost and don’t realize that these bikes are, at their best, low quality restorations, and at their worst, dangerous.
